Moisturizing tips

Winters are coming, & here are some surprising moisturising tips:
DON"T bathe in very hot water - keep it warm, continue to DRINK lots of water and KEEP ON using sunscreen before you go out in the sun.

Cloves

Got Cloves in your kitchen? You all know that gently chewing a clove can ease tooth ache, but did you know that a quarter spoon of ground cloves in your food daily can help stabilize blood sugar and slow down cholesterol build up?

Heart Day

Heart Day: Reduce salt intake, exercise for at least 15 minutes daily, try and manitain a balanced diet, and avoid partially hydrogenated and saturated oils as far as possible!

Hair mask

For strong and shiney hair, try this home-made hair mask next time - mix 5 tbsp. natural henna powder, 1 egg, 1 cup warm water and juice of 1/2 lemon, keep on hair for 2 hours, and rinse off. Look great!

Colored Foods

Eating fruits and vegetables of different colors gives your body a wide range of valuable nutrients, like fiber, folate, potassium, and vitamins A and C. Enjoy!

Cooking Technique

Steaming is the healthiest cooking technique, microwaving is the unhealthiest. For regular cooking, stick to steaming, boiling, poaching and sauteing.

Cucumber

Cucumber is an effective laxative, an antacid, works against cholesterol, and with milk- even as a fairness lotion!! Did you get your cucumber today?

Tea

Drinking tea or coffee along with (or within 45 mins) a vegetarian meal decreases iron absorption by 65%. Avoid it!

Teeth

Rub teeth with the inner white part of an orange peel for a lovely white shine.

Microwave

Use only glass containers in your microwave. Carcinogenic toxins can leach out of your plastic and paper containers!
