Here's a recipe your kids will love - Spiced Organic Pancakes - simple & healthy pancakes which you can jazz up with your favourite toppings!
½ cup wholewheat flour
¼ cup oats
1 tbsp powdered sugar
¼ tsp baking powder
pinch of soda bicarbonate
¼ tsp cinnamon
½ cup buttermilk
Honey as required
• Mix all the dry ingredients – wholewheat, oats, sugar, baking powder, soda bicarbonate, cinnamon powder.
• Gradually add buttermilk to make a smooth batter.
• Heat a non-stick pan. Pour a spoonful of batter to spread the batter around the pan. Cook on low heat.
• Flip the pancake over and cook the other side.
• Serve hot with honey. You may sprinkle some powdered sugar on top.
